The process utilized by reverse osmosis water filters has been noted by the United States Centers for Disease Control, or CDC, as one of the most efficient and effective procedures for generating good quality drinking water that is safe and good tasting. The CDC is very much concerned with reducing the spread of disease and because so many diseases can be spread though contaminated water, this is a very important issue.
